Grounding, Growing, Giving

Youth Ministries

Forest United Methodist Youth Ministries

We understand that being a teenager is difficult. We also understand that young people have amazing perspectives, gifts and graces to offer to our ministries. At Forest UMC, we seek to help them grow in their faith, and invite them to help us grow as a Community of Believers.
The Stand

Group Description

Our main goal is to study God’s Word and help young men and women become followers (disciples) of Jesus. We want our kids to actively serve and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus to the community. We often tell them the biggest mission field is the one called high school.

We are fun, vibrant, and passionate because that is how we perceive our Creator to be. We enjoy basketball, kickball, bowling, board games, movies, trips throughout the U.S, and many other mission projects that help us grow as a family. We are active!

God’s word is taught every Wednesday night. We meet in the Family Life Center at 6:15 p.m. During this time we will engage in games and bible studies. We also meet for Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., upstairs in the Family Life Center.
